Otis Library will host a shred event on Saturday, September 7, 10am to 12pm. You can safely dispose of your important documents and support Otis Library at the same time!  Liberty Bank is sponsoring this free service and has generously offered it as a fundraiser for Otis Library.  The Infoshred truck will be parked at 10 Railroad Place in Norwich (behind Otis Library) to securely shred your documents.  There is a limit of two file-sized boxes per vehicle to be securely destroyed.  Participants remain in their vehicle, pop their trunks, and the Infoshred representative removes the items and immediately shreds them.  Boxes and/or bags will be returned to the participants.  No appointment is necessary.  This is a free service, but donations are greatly appreciated.  Otis Library staff will be on hand to accept donations to the library in the form of cash or checks.
