Citizenship Class

Citizenship Class In-Person

Otis Library and Norwich Regional Adult Education are offering a Free Citizenship Preparation Class. Students are instructed on the naturalization process, and interview and test. Course content includes United States history, government, and culture with a focus on vocabulary development and civics. The course also readies students to answer ten out of a possible one hundred questions selected by the INS interviewer. U.S. citizenship offers many benefits and equally important responsibilities. By taking this course, students prepare to fulfill the requirements for citizenship and gain the knowledge and confidence to pass the official citizenship test. 

This 18-week class starts October 21 and will meet on Mondays, from 4:30 PM - 7 PM, at Otis Library. 

Applicants Must:

  • Read, write, and comprehend English
  • Register and pre-test at Norwich Adult Education
  • Bring their Green Card to register
  • Commit to attending all 18 weeks of class
